Package: jack
Version: 0.100.0-2

Originally I had jackd installed and during a upgrade it became
nessicary to remove it to allow many packages to be installed. This may
of been a bad move. I figured it was temporary and would of probably
been fixed by now (like there was a package waiting to be sent from
Experimental or something like that.) However, now I am thinking that it
is a mistake.

Right now when I try to install it wants me to uninstall many packages,
mostly sound packages, but also including many kde packages. I am not
sure why...

sudo apt-get install jackd kde-core

kde-core is already the newest version.
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libjack0.80.0-0: Conflicts: jackd (> 0.99.0-6) but 0.100.0-2 is to be
installed
E: Broken packages

Same thing happens when I choose other non-kde apps from the list, like
ams or noteedit

Thank You.
