I'm not sure whether dd_rhelp is really worth a package within Debian. Nowadays gddrescue (the GNU ddrescue version) supports resuming from canceled executions and I think that's one of the major reasons why dd_rescue was interesting in the early days. I have a working package of dd_rhelp available though: http://git.grml.org/?p=dd-rhelp.git http://deb.grml.org/pool/main/d/dd-rhelp/ If there are any proponents out there with a good argument why dd_rhelp should become part of Debian I'd take over ITP and official maintenance of the package.
