Package: network-manager-gnome Version: 0.7.1-1 Severity: important nm-applet is not showing the wired network on a Dell M1210 laptop[1]. It does manage without problem the wireless device.
The device is not listed on /e/n/i[2], and I didn't change the default configuration for /etc/NetworkManager/nm-system-settings.conf[3]. grepping for nm-system-settings on syslog doesn't show anything out of the ordinary (for me at least): Aug 16 11:35:14 gonzalo nm-system-settings: SCPlugin-Ifupdown: init!
