Package: dbus Version: 1.2.16-2 Severity: normal When starting GNOME up, a popup window is displayed featuring the following error message:
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken. Surprisingly enough, nothing seems to fail, but this may be only in my case, not sure if other people might have issues because of this. Oddly enough, the error seems not be logged anywhere in /var/log/ Thanks for your attention. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_AR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_AR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages dbus depends on: ii adduser 3.110 add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.9-23 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.16-2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libexpat1 2.0.1-4 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii libselinux1 2.0.82-1 SELinux shared libraries ii lsb-base 3.2-23 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip dbus recommends no packages.
