Package: mrtg-ping-probe
Version: 2.1.0-1
Severity: important

The ping program from the netkit-ping package requires root permissions
for option -s:

  $ /bin/ping -s 56 -c 10 127.0.0.1
  ping: Operation not permitted

So either the option -s should be removed for Debian or better you
make the mrtg-ping-probe package dependent on iputils-ping only
(at the moment it depends on netkit-ping or iputils-ping).

Regards, Uwe
