linux-2.6 support is beeing dropped for 2.6.31.

I request that this package *not* be dropped from unstable.

It has concrete use cases (apparently beyond the imagination of Max).

It does *not* require official Debian Linux kernels to work.

Even if the Debian kernel team choose to only support a single ramdisk generator (the one maintained by Max), others might choose to not be similarly narrowminded.
