is this still an issue for you with seahorse 2.26.1? I highly suspect
this issue is related to a fix in that version:
* 02_service_autostart.patch: don't daemonize seahorse-daemon when it
is autostarted by D-Bus, otherwise the first invocation will always
fail. Thanks Sjoerd for the explanations.
Could you try this (perhaps in a chroot/virtual machine)?
