Andrea has already applied as DD some time ago, and I've acted as his AM. Unfortunately, he became then busy with school and has to suspend his NM process. I already know him from the time before he applied for DD. He had the opportunity to learn working with debian packages in ubuntu, where he already has upload privileges some months before he applied in Debian. I've been sponsoring Andrea's work to debian since then. From the packages I've seen and signed for him, I can attest him the necessary technical skills for maintaining his packages.
