I do understand that an important usage of qemu in Debian is for installing Debian guests. But there are of course many other ways of using qemu which do *not* require debootstrap. Please demote it to a Suggest instead. Although I do have sharutils and vde2 installed, I believe the need to recommend these also could be questioned. I do personally use vde2 for qemu networking, but the usefulness of this depends on the guests netowrking needs. I have no problem imagining qemu usage patterns where vde2 doesn't make sense. So it should probably also be a Suggest. This bug is filed in an attempt to reduce the set of Recommended packages enough for me to be able to install an ordinary non-desktop system without disabling APT::Install-Recommends.
