Package: dovecot-imapd
Version: 1:1.0.15-2.3
Severity: normal

Hi

When I try to open one particular mail in one of my IMAP folders, the client
(Thunderbird) gets disconnected and the following errors are written to the log:

dovecot: IMAP(avian): /home/avian/Maildir/.Archive.2008.10/dovecot-uidlist:
Broken header (uidvalidity = 0, next_uid=360)
dovecot: IMAP(avian): FETCH for mailbox Archive.2008.10 UID 153 got too little
data: 732 vs 3503
dovecot: IMAP(avian): Disconnected: Disconnected

(the last two lines repeat, as the client automatically tries to reconnect and
fails again)

All other mails in this folder can be opened normally. I'm using Maildir
storage on a local filesystem (not NFS). Restarting dovecot doesn't help.

I recently upgraded from etch. I don't know if the problem appeared after
upgrade or was also present in the old version.

I would be happy to provide an anonymized mailbox or further debugging
information.

Regards
Tomaž
