Package: flashplugin-nonfree
I've just tried running upgrade-flash-plugin on an amd64 lenny box.
md5sum rejected libflashplayer-10.0.32.18.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz
Two issues:
- the .gz file downloaded has a .gz extension - but it is not actually
compressed, it is just a straight tar file
- after compressing it again, the md5sum still doesn't match the value
expected by the script
The workaround for me:
- download the file manually to /var/cache/flashplugin-nonfree
- remove the .gz extension
- compress it with gz
- comment out the code for checking md5sum in /usr/sbin/update-flash-plugin
