Package: debmirror Version: 1:1.0.1 Severity: important Hi,
if I use debmirror to get the archive of Debian security or Debian
volatile, I run into a error. To reproduce run this:
debmirror --verbose --method=http --host=ftp.de.debian.org
--root=debian-security \
--dist=lenny/updates --arch=i386 --section=main,contrib,non-free \
--nosource DEST
It's because of the distribution name. You must use --dist=lenny/updates
to get lenny security, but the Release file only contains 'Codename:
lenny' or 'Suite: stable'. So debmirror download all Release files and
afterwards stop working with this info:
Broken Release file: neither Codename nor Suite matches lenny/updates.
Errors:
Broken Release file: neither Codename nor Suite matches lenny/updates.
I just analyse the error and detect SVN commit number 56 (Parse Release files
to obtain Codename/Suite for dists) should cause the damage.
Greetings,
Christoph
