Package: kernel-package Version: 9.001 This might actually be a rootstrap problem, but unless I'm missing something, it appears like you cannot currently install rootstrap and a kernel-image-uml package created by kernel-package:
# apt-get install rootstrap Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: kernel-uml-2.6.12.2: Conflicts: user-mode-linux (>= 2.0) E: Broken packages -- Rob Browning rlb @defaultvalue.org and @debian.org; previously @cs.utexas.edu GPG starting 2002-11-03 = 14DD 432F AE39 534D B592 F9A0 25C8 D377 8C7E 73A4 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
