My motivation has dropped somewhat, as I switched to ktorrent :).

But it seems that it is not only deluge that has the problem; it is the same
for ktorrent. At the same time, konqueror seems to be able to use the system
applications correctly.

So it would seem to be more of an "Iceweasel should be better at recognizing
and suggesting helper applications in general" problem.

Feel free to close the bug, as far as I am concerned, since it is an
iceweasel problem, and not a problem with deluge.
