He already said once that this fixes the issue and that's why I first closed the report. So I read the above sentence as `After a reboot I still need to do the echo change thing to fix this' and such behaviour do I consider a bug. We got a few reports (#544420, #542435 and #544577) about this problem even though the people updated dmsetup but didn't bother to reassign and merge them all to you, because I thought there was something wrong on there side not on the dmsetup package. But seems like Ganneff wasn't the only one for whom a reboot with the updated package didn't solve this problem.
