BTW, after sending my previous mail, it occurred to me that you could also insulate gnade against such changes without requiring GNAT support for import generation by adding a small C component that would #include MySQL headers and define accessors for use by Ada code (which would treat the data types as otherwise opaque). -- Aaron M.
