The bug is still reproducible, you can try it out by yourself by doing
"apt-get source -b turbomail". What you obtain is a backtrace ending
with something like the following:
pkg_resources.VersionConflict: (TurboJson 1.2.1
(/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.5), Requirement.parse('TurboJson>=1.1.4,<1.2'))
The point is that, whereas the bug you mention as been solved (by a take
over of mine of the turbojson package which has uploaded the most recent
version), the current version of turbomail available in Debian is not
compatible with that version of turbojson (which is the latest as well).
To fix this, you should upgrade the turbomail packaging to the most
recent version (in Debian we have 2.1-2, whereas upstream website offers
version 3.0). In doing so, note that turbomail declares that it has
support for both turbogears 1.x and turbogears 2.x. The latter is in
good shape in unstable and maintained by me (feel free to ping me if you
need help and/or advice); the former (turbogears 1.x) is currently
orphaned and not working at all. So you should check whether it is
possible to package turbomail so that it relies only on TG2 or if it
needs both TG1 and TG2 (which would surprise me, but still).
To conclude: note that the current situation implies that turbomail in
testing is unusable so the most appropriate course of action would
probably be to remove it from testing to let a new upstream version
enter when it's ready.
