I took another look at this, and while I still don't think warning about use of the key in general is the right thing to do, it looks like the issue that you're reporting would be addressed by warning specifically about those packages that use OnlyShowIn with a list like GHOME;XFCE; or GNOME;KDE;XFCE;. In those cases, it's likely that the package meant NotShowIn instead.
