#546200 is a duplicate of #496745 and not solved!
$ strace bash -l
...
open("/etc/bash.bash_logout", O_RDONLY|O_LARGEFILE) = -1 ENOENT (No such file
or directory)
...
I read in the man page
/etc/bash.bash.logout
instead of
/etc/bash.bash_logout
