I did 'apt-get install x-window-system-core', then 'apt-get install fluxbox menu xterm'. When i run 'startx' it launch xorg with xterm as a client... 'update-alternative --config x-window-manager' tells me: 'No alternatives for x-window-manager'. 'startx fluxbox' works, but it also launch an xterm showing anything that happens.
