Thats very good to know, thanks.
I am fine back-porting them [heimdal-* packages] - I just need to know
IF the issues I mentioned to you in the past were addressed in
'sid' (for example)
Recently I had issues with 'slapd' that could only be resolved by
backporting 'sid's version - I have no objections to doing the same
for heimdal-*, however I need to know IF a particular "unstable"
release has the aforementioned problem solved.
In other words, I'd like to avoid back-porting it while *HOPING* the
issue is resolved, while not actually *KNOWING* that it will work.
If you happen to know (and tell me), then I will have one less request
for you to juggle, as the "fix" I requested previously would no longer
be necessary (for me, anyway).
Thanks
J

By "upstream" please specify "how far upstream" I must go to obtain a

Unfortunately, I can't update the Lenny package because of Debian
packaging
policy.
Please could you see [email protected] in your responses?
Otherwise
your emails are likely to get lost.
I have just recently uploaded some rather urgent (and drastic)
changes to the
Debian package, and want to allow several weeks to make sure it
works fine
before investigating making more changes.
Thanks.
PS. I am a volunteer, and I don't get paid by Debian in anyway. This
means that
I have to juggle my time with my paid work, and real life(TM).
