Hi Gerrit,

wow, lengthy thread, I've just finished reading it.
I now can see my choice of the word "Replace" in the Subject was not the
happiest one ;)

I understand your view and I respect your opinion about keeping a
runinit script, but I am very keen to find a solution for a
sysvinit script anyways. 

I am replying on that bug report with my proposal.
