Hello, I updated to debian testing last night and can reproduce this bug on my system currently. I would really like to see this fixed and my current workaround is to use a local console to run commands that require root access.
More information about the bug is running su asks for the root password but always fails. Running su as root works but not as a user in ldap. $ uname -a Linux ikdesk23 2.6.30-1-686 #1 SMP Sat Aug 15 19:11:58 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux Please let me know how I can help fix the bug.
