Package: guessnet Version: 0.49-1 Severity: minor # echo 'home peer 192.168.0.1 00:00:c5:b4:98:74' | guessnet -v eth0 guessnet: 0 candidate profiles guessnet: Sending 10 ARP probes, 1 every second... home
Why does guessnet say "0 candidate profiles" while there's a test for the home profile? The consequence is that I get the 5-second timeout, even though the correct output is obtained. As a workaournd to this bug, I can use "-t 1" to have a 1-second timeout only. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO8859-1 (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages guessnet depends on: ii libc6 2.9-26 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.4.1-4 GCC support library ii libiw29 29-2 Wireless tools - library ii libnet1 1.1.4-2 library for the construction and h ii libpcap0.8 1.0.0-4 system interface for user-level pa ii libstdc++6 4.4.1-4 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 guessnet recommends no packages.
