Package: nautilus Version: 2.28.0-2 Severity: normal I usually don't use nautilus, so it is not configured to handle the desktop. But I occasionally use it, and launch it by hand.
Since the upgrade to nautilus 2.80.0-2 (from 2.26.3-1), my typical use case showed a bug. My typical use case is the following: - Start nautilus - Insert USB key. The USB key has a LUKS partition under which an ext4 filesystem is present. - Nautilus asks for the LUKS passphrase - Nautilus then opens a new window to /media/disk, where the filesystem was mounted - I do my stuff - I click on the eject button for the USB key in the Places pane - I unplug the USB key. Now, the problem with 2.28.0-2 is that the Places pane doesn't contain the USB key anymore, so I can't unmount the filesystem safely from nautilus. Interestingly, if I unmount by hand (umount and cryptsetup luksClose) and restart nautilus, it crashes at startup, until I unplug the USB key. But maybe this last bit would grant a new but (clone && retitle ?)
