you appear to have a working binary built with -O0 and one with -O2. please find the object file which could be miscompiled, by combining the -O0/-O2 object files. If you are down to a single object file, try building with -O0/-O1/-O2, then see which options are added in which optimization level, and specify these separately on the command line. Please check as well, if other compiler versions -4.3/-4.4/-snapshot do work.
