block 541396 by 548356 thanks I was preparing a NMU with a fix fix for the incorrect dependency header in the mdadm script when it occured to me that it is not safe to upload that fix without fixing the incorrect headers in the cryptdisks and cryptdisks-early scripts first. If the fix for mdadm is uploaded first, a dependency loop is introduced, as the cryptdisks scripts in rcS.d/ depend on mdadm in rc2.d, and cryptdisk is a dependency of both $local_fs and $syslog when cryptsetup is installed.
Because of this, bug #541396 in mdadm should only be fixed after bug #548356 in cryptsetup is fixed. I urge the cryptsetup maintainers to fix #548356 quickly.
