Package: dlocate
Version: 0.5-0.1
Severity: normal

Hello,

the dpkg package no longer provides /usr/bin/md5sum (since 1.13.2?).
Instead, the version from coreutils /usr/bin/md5sum.textutils is used,
which does not understand the "-v" option:

# dlocate -md5check gdm
md5sum: invalid option -- v
Try `md5sum --help' for more information.

When the "-v" option is removed, the result looks sensible, although
the output format looks a bit different, as it now uses ":".

# dlocate -md5check gdm | head
/usr/share/locale/af/LC_MESSAGES/gdm.mo: OK
/usr/share/locale/am/LC_MESSAGES/gdm.mo: OK
/usr/share/locale/ar/LC_MESSAGES/gdm.mo: OK
/usr/share/locale/az/LC_MESSAGES/gdm.mo: OK
/usr/share/locale/be/LC_MESSAGES/gdm.mo: OK
/usr/share/locale/bg/LC_MESSAGES/gdm.mo: OK
/usr/share/locale/bn/LC_MESSAGES/gdm.mo: OK
/usr/share/locale/bs/LC_MESSAGES/gdm.mo: OK
/usr/share/locale/ca/LC_MESSAGES/gdm.mo: OK
/usr/share/locale/cs/LC_MESSAGES/gdm.mo: OK

Best regards
Matthias Ferdinand
