Package: nautilus Version: 2.28.0-2 Severity: normal In Nautilus 2.28, symlinks on the Desktop do not stay put. Everytime I login they are spread everywhere chaotically even under other (streched) icons.
According to Alex Larsson (on irc), this is due to nautilus using symlink target's metadata, not the symlink's itself (you also see the symlinks on the desktop using their target's emblems).
