I'll have to double-check my backups before installing > "experimental" code. yes, backups are important. but in case anything breaks, the following should restore old system: - boot from rescue disk, luksOpen your root device - mount the root filesystem - chroot into root filesystem - install cryptsetup from debian/unstable i recommend to store the cryptsetup package from unstable somewhere on the root filesystem to have it available in emergency cases. but as already mentioned, i tested the packages both in production and test setups, thus i don't expect anything to break for you. greetings, jonas
