Thanks! I looked at the package, it looks fine. The nature of the bug is that I can't test the fix without recompiling a package that depends on it. So in theory this warrants a round of binNMUs. In practice I don't think it's really worth the trouble. I've mentioned it on IRC in #debian-release and will drop it if nobody thinks it's worth it.
