Package: rxvt-unicode-lite Version: 9.06-1 Severity: wishlist rxvt-unicode doesn't seem to clear the area outside of the character matrix when the window manager is forcing a certain size (by ignoring size hints).
This effect is visible when shrinking a large window filled with text, causing the last line of the terminal to be pushed up, and leaving the old, half-drawn line still visible until the window is completely redrawn by some other event. It would be nice if this area (between the real size and effective character size) would be cleared as well with the background color on resize. This is not a bug, since rxvt-unicode works correctly when the WM respects size hints. However, tiled window managers force window sizes regardless of size hints in some circumstances. It would be nice if rxvt fixed this glitch when the WM is forcing a pre-determined size. Thanks -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
