Package: alpine
Version: 2.00+dfsg-4
Severity: important

The 'alpine' package has disappeared from the squeeze
repository. It simply is no longer there, even giving
an error on packages.debian.org saying it doesn't exist
for this suite. Yet, the package remains in lenny, and
in sid, so I do not see why it has disappeared only from
squeeze. What is the status of this package and why has
it been removed? Is there a reason or is this simply an
accident? It disappeared from the repository a few weeks
or so ago. I waited to see if it'd re-appear on its own,
but it has not.

I've searched message threads and bug reports and package
info and can't find this anywhere, hence the bug report.
Apologies if the information on the package removal is
buried somewhere I couldn't find (which, in itself, would
be an issue that might need attention).
