Package: nginx Version: 0.7.62-3 Severity: important Hi,
After upgrade nginx stopped working because of the new config in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf. error same as previous poster: [emerg] 22097#0: no "http_auth" is defined for server in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf:39 I've not modified the debian provided nginx.conf as it was appropriate for webserving and thus got the new broken nginx.conf file from debian package. It's not nice to actively destroy working user configurations. Would it be possibel to include those email config examples as comments only? michael -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_DK.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages nginx depends on: ii libc6 2.10.1-1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libpcre3 7.8-2+b1 Perl 5 Compatible Regular Expressi ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8k-1 SSL shared libraries ii lsb-base 3.2-22 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-13 compression library - runtime nginx recommends no packages. nginx suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
