no problem - i just did take a quick look. Because I suspected this bug really is a duplicate of #457094, I did: aptitude download vim-runtime then tried to open the deb¹ in emacs and it failed with: in *Messages*: »deb-view processing deb file vim-runtime_2%3a7.2.245-2_all.deb... Parsing tar file...
