Package: procps Version: 1:3.2.5-1 Severity: critical Justification: breaks unrelated software
One of the recent updates to procps apparently over-wrote the /etc/sysctl.conf file (I believe without prompting). For users with a Macintosh system (with one mouse button), this file is a common place to put directives to emulate the middle and right mouse buttons with keyboard buttons. The WindowMaker window manager uses the right mouse button to invoke the top-level menu system; having the right mouse button cease to exist renders this combination (Window Make plus Mac hardware) unusable. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-powerpc Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages procps depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libncurses5 5.4-4 Shared libraries for terminal hand -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
