Package: krb5-user
Version: 1.6.dfsg.4~beta1-5lenny1
Severity: important

When a user that has been authenticated against a Kerberos server (Active
Directory) try to change their password (PAM or kpasswd) it receive a error
message saying that the password cannot be changed because of a protocol
version problem. The exact message follow:

$ kpasswd
Password for u...@realm:
Enter new password:
Enter it again:
kpasswd: Requested protocol version not supported changing password

This bug is related with Microsoft implementation of the password change
protocol and MIT Kerberos 1.7 seems to have fixed it
