Package: binutils-gold Version: 2.20-1 Severity: normal I've tested many packages with gold linker and noticed that it creates a unknown symbol for every library I tested. I don't know for what it is but either dpkg-gensymbols has to stop to add it to the symbols file or binutils- gold has to stop to export it as symbol that looks like it was exported by the user.
Example output from zlib:
dpkg-gensymbols: warning: debian/lib32z1/DEBIAN/symbols doesn't match
completely debian/lib32z1.symbols
--- debian/lib32z1.symbols (lib32z1 amd64)
