I think we should leave things as is.

Translators will be notified and the translation they already sent
will be resynced with the current templates and attached to the
notification. So, no work is lost.

Of course, some of them might send their update in a new bug
report...as they might have forgotten they already sent something.

That's indeed not a big deal and the final changelog will just close
the two bugs in such case.

I'll launch the call for translations now.**
