Package: fluxbox Version: 1.1.1-2 'xprop -root _NET_WORKAREA' should give a list of all configured virtual desktops' sizes (a.k.a. workspaces). When you add or remove virtual desktops (right-click on the background window, in the "workspaces" menu item), the list reported by xprop is not updated.
