Spamassassin's README.Debian features: Please note that you need libnet-dns-perl (>= 0.34) to use network tests. Since this is not required to use spamassassin, it can not be a dependency, and thus it may not necessarily be installed automatically. please add this note: NB: since the default for the dns_available configuration setting is "test", installing libnet-dns-perl will change your list of "trusted relays", which in turn will change your hits on tests like MSGID_FROM_MTA_ID and ALL_TRUSTED. . Implementing the suggestion by Marc Sherman in Bug #290927 to change the trusted_networks setting in the Spamassassin configuration would also be nice.
