I run sid and have the same problems in midori and arora as well as
iceweasel.
The best work around so far is to use the middle mouse button in
conjunction with the left mouse button to register left button clicks.
This can be a bit tricky though on laptops where there are only two
buttons.
I have a meso and found that I can get around this by holding the right
mouse button in and clicking where I want with the left.
