Package: ekeyd Version: 1.0.7-1 Severity: wishlist On a system that had ekeyd installed and running (but I didn't want it running, see #555300 ), I edited /etc/default/ekeyd and set START_EKEYD=NO. Then I ran
/etc/init.d/ekeyd stop in order to stop the running ekeyd and got the following Simtec Entropy Key Daemon is disabled failed! I suppose I could have stopped the daemon first and then disabled it in the config file, but maybe the disabled check should only apply to the start(and restart) actions?
