Please provide a new kind of triggers that are only ran after the triggering packages are configured. This is required for Debian menu at least and generally safer than the standard trigger. Note that this can be emulated currently by calling dpkg-trigger explicitely in the triggering packages posting script (which is what Debian menu do), but of course this kind of defeat the point of triggers in the first place, so implementing this new kind of triggers should be generally possible.
