Since you are the only user who has seen this bug and apparently have
not been able to reproduce it since clearing your configuration, it does
not qualify as severity important. If you see it happen again, let me
know.

Ok, with the downgrade.
You can even close the bug and mention in
/usr/share/doc/audacious/Readme.Debian.gz for ex, that starting
audacious with a fresh/clean configuration might solve some
incompatibility issue in conf files during upgrade.
