protobuf-c-compiler is built from the protobuf-c source package, which build-depends on the binary packages libprotobuf-dev, libprotoc-dev, protobuf-compiler, which are built from the protobuf source package. protobuf-c-compiler has runtime dependencies on libprotobufN and libprotocN. iustin pop is the protobuf package maintainer and i am the protobuf-c package maintainer. two source packages and three binary packages are affected by #556563. -- Robert Edmonds edmo...@debian.org
