Package: acpi-support Version: 0.123-1 Severity: normal
After updating to the latest acpi-support in squeeze, the volume keys no longer create an event on my Thinkpad T60 (I no longer received a display for my volume keys in gnome). After much digging around and rolling back to lenny's version of acpi-support, I found that all of the thinkpad scripts in /etc/acpi/events/ except for thinkpad-thinkpad and thinkpad-cmos had been removed in squeeze's version. I had to copy the old left-out scripts from lenny'z version for things to work again. Unless there is some error on my part, I think it would be a good idea to include them in the next version. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.31.6 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
