Package: gnash Version: 0.8.6-1 Severity: normal When playing any YouTube video, my experience is as follows:
- Gnash initially does not play, showing the 'Click to play' button. This is as intended. - Upon clicking the button, nothing happens on screen for tens of seconds, sometimes more than a minute. gnash does use CPU for part of that time. - Sound starts, but it is faltering, playing a piece of less than a second, pausing, playing another piece. - Video starts, but it has the same problem. There does not seem to be any synchronization between video and sound. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.31-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages gnash depends on: ii gnash-common 0.8.6-1 free SWF movie player - common fil ii libc6 2.10.2-2 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.4.2-3 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.22.2-2 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.18.3-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libstdc++6 4.4.2-3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 gnash recommends no packages. gnash suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
