I plan to remove the libmd5-perl package from Debian as it has been superseded by Digest::MD5 [1]. I actually couldn't find any use of the deprecated MD5 module in pilot-link (the only perl program containing the string "MD5" was ./src/pilot-sync-plan.pl which already uses Digest::MD5). For this reason, please drop the Suggests: libmd5-perl from the pilot-link package. You can probably also drop the Depends: libdigest-md5-perl for libpda-pilot-perl as the Digest::MD5 module is contained in the perl package since 5.7.3 (oldstable already has 5.8.8).
