There is a patch in the subversion repository that I made after the 0.7.0 release that is even better than the original patch in 0.7.0.

I totally seperate the plugin search path from python's search path. That way only files in the plugin-directories that start with dstat_*.py are taken into account. So there is no possibility to overload an existing python library.

But the original patch in 0.7.0 is sufficient for the important attack vectors.
